A monthly series of all of the goodies that I am currently obsessing over!
1.
Salt Fat Acid Heat
This American cooking documentary on Netflix staring Samin Nosrat was so amazing! The show stems from her book called Salt Fat Acid Heat: Mastering the Elements of Good Cooking that was published in 2017. It's a quick four-episode documentary that I ended up watching with my parents when I would go over for dinner once a week. What we loved most about it were the places that Samin would travel to to discuss each of the elements; locations like Japan, Italy, and Mexico. The way she would describe the process of finding certain foods and creating a meal was so different than other cooking shows/documentaries because as someone who personally doesn't enjoy cooking, she sprouted an interest in me that wasn't overwhelming. It mostly made me want to get into the kitchen to create memories with people that I love! A must-see!

Mighty Patch - Hero Cosmetics
These Might Patches from Hero Cosmetics make me feel less stressed over breakouts! While they only seem to work on white-head-like pimples, I also have been using them to calm my cystic pimples (I know...TMI). My cystic pimples never go away with these, but I've noticed that the redness at least calms down a bit which is nice for when you go out in public. In case that wasn't TMI, something that I love about these patches is the gunk that shows up on the patch before you remove it after 6+ hours...they are similar to those Bioré blackhead strips that show the remains...super gross, yet super satisfying. I actually ended up buying a bunch of these in mini boxes from Target for little stocking stuffers!

Mejuri Necklace
A very lovely friend of mine just recently gave me this Crescent necklace from Mejuri for Christmas. Mejuri is one of my favorite jewelry brands because of how simple their pieces are. Mejuri is definitely not the cheapest, but they don't break the bank either. You can depend on their pieces to be one of a kind and durable, which is super important to me since I never take my jewelry off. I highly recommend...plus their mail packaging is the cutest!

Benefit Gimme Brow
Gimmeeeee Brow, baby! This tinted eyebrow gel is awesome and I'm now hooked. My eyebrows are already a very dark shade of brown and they are pretty full in shape, which I love, but because of that I've never been one to pencil in my eyebrows out of fear of them looking too-done. This teeny-tiny bottle of Gimme Brow from Benefit has a smidge of color and product that keeps all of my eyebrow hairs in place. While I never really colored in my eyebrows, I was always brushing them. This product is so perfect for those of us who just want a little bit of oomf and shape, but nothing crazy!

Armchair Expert Podcast with Dax Shepard
I have always loved Dax Shepard. His personality is so funny and to the point, no bullshit. I've been really into his podcast, Armchair Expert, lately while going for my long walks. Armchair Expert has the best guests like Halsey, Hilary Clinton, Shawn Mendes, Natalie Portman...the list goes on! The shows are pretty lengthly; roughly about an hour and a half, so I do tend to listen to one full episode over the span of a couple of days. What I love most about this show is how honest Dax is with who he is as a person. He is straight up with his questions, comments, and opinions and I really admire that in a host. He will have you laughing like crazy at times and that's just what I need!
